2U Hot-swap Server Chassis Model OCS2680-H08-H
The OC2680-H08-H is a high-performance storage server created in modern-day data centers and enterprise environments. It is the most scalable and flexible system ever made, capable of supporting up to 8 x 3.5″ (or 2.5″) hard drive bays and an additional optional rear-mounted 2.5-inch hot-swappable drive bay space. The motherboard can fit sizes up to 13.9″ x 13″, which means it can support E-ATX as well as smaller form factors, making it suitable for any application you might have in mind.
- Supports motherboards sized up to 13.9″ x 13″ which are compatible with E-ATX or smaller form factors
- Can hold up to eight three-and-a-half-inch (or two-and-a-half-inch) hard drives plus another two-and-a-half-inch one that’s hot-swappable from behind if desired
- It takes either two standard-sized power supplies or one that’s a little bit bigger than your average size but still within the norm limits set forth by standards organizations like UL/CSA, etcetera.
- Has a six-gigabit/second or twelve gigabytes per second direct-attached backplane with optional SFF-8087/SFF-8643 cables for faster data transfers between devices connected through this interface type
- It comes equipped with seven PCI slots that are half-height, so they can be used in thin cases where full-length cards would not fit; these also provide better shielding against electromagnetic emissions than their longer counterparts.
